Calvin L Booth

Calvin L. Booth comes to Nova Village Athletic Club  as an 10 year NBA veteran. He founded NOVA Village in 2009. Calvin attended Penn State University after a stellar high school career at Groveport Madison High School. As a junior, he was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. As a senior, he was a Second Team All Big Ten Conference pick.  He earned a Bachelor of Ars Degree from PSU in 1998.

Booth was drafted by the Washington Wizards in the second round (35th overall) of the 1999 NBA Draft. He has played for the Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks, Seattle Supersonics (now Oklahoma Thunder), Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings. Calvin is currently the General Manager for the Denver Nuggets.  

James H. Tanks III

James H. Tanks III comes to Nova Village Athletic Club as the former Head Varsity Assistant Coach at Columbus Independence High School and Pickerington High School North. In thirteen seasons, he helped guide both schools to a record of 175-123 (59%). James has also coached/developed several All-League and All-District student athletes during this time.  Coach Tanks has directed some of the top camps in Central Ohio and was inducted into the Tiffin University Hall of Fame in 2008 (Track). He earned his Bachelors Degree from TU in 1998 in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management. James is currently the Director of Basketball Operations for Nova. 

Andreas James

Andreas James comes to Nova Village Athletic Club as a former Division 2 All-American Point Guard from Tiffin University. While there on a basketball scholarship, he was voted MVP, Most Improved, Defensive Player of the Year and Runner Up Player of the Year in the Mid Ohio Conference.  Coach James specializes in working with youth of all ages. He focuses on developing skills, character and work ethic that translates into the real world. Andreas coached at Tiffin University for 7 years (3 as Assistant Coach, 4 as Head Coach). He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from TU in 1999 and his Masters Degree also from TU in 2001. Andreas is 4th all time  career in assists (440) and 5th all time in steals (142) at Tiffin.

Andreas is currently the Director of Training/ Program Development for Nova. James also is the head coach at Hartley High School in Columbus, Ohio.
